Baldacci Pinot Noir 2006
Label from same wine, but another vintage |
“Elizabeth” was the first Pinot Noir produced at Baldacci Family Vineyards. This third release has aromas of dried roses and lavender, mowed hay and a dusting of earthy peet. The wine is full-bodied and mouth-watering with flavors of cooked strawberries, bright, elegant acid and superfine tannins. “Elizabeth” is aged in 100% French Oak, 50% new, for 9 months. We bottle unfined and unfiltered and bottle-age for 9 months before release. This wine has a light lingering finish which pairs perfectly with Paté and Crackers, Chicken and Cream Sauce or Dinner Salads.
