Grown in the rocky volcanic soils at the base of Hood Mountain, this Merlot releases aromatics of chocolate covered espresso bean, black cherry, caramel and licorice. The structure of this wine is sturdy with firm tannins and bright acidity, a characteristic which will carry this wine throughout a lengthy bottle life, enjoyable until 2014.
