Badia di Morrona
Badia di Morrona is located in the centre of Colline Pisane and it is one of the four abbeys founded by Counts of Fucecchio.
The abbey, whose origins go all the way back to the year 1000 A.D., was the seat of a convent of Benedictine monks, who always produced wine.
The agricolture soul of Badia di Morrona has historical origins as much as its wine culture origin of this area.
The unique structure of the vineyards, basicly clay rich of fossils but also with some sandy and mineral soils, are reflected into the wines, with a unique results in terms of taste and style of wines.
