Winemaker's Notes

This wine is clear, brilliant, deep, garnet-red colour. Its bouquet is both intense and elegant, with hints of oak and ripe fruit. The wine has spicy, inky, or fresh mossy aromas. It is quite soft and is round, fleshy and fruity on the middle palate. It is remarkably well-balanced with plush, ripe tannin. It is long and has a slight vanilla flavor.

Regional Style

Bordeaux Left Bank Red

Bordeaux Left Bank Reds tend to be Full-bodied and have High Acidity

Bordeaux is divided into two major areas, the Left and the Right Bank. The Left Bank lies south west of the Gironde River and is home to some of the most prestigious sub- appellations in the Médoc, including Pauillac, Saint Estephe, Saint Julien, Margaux and Graves.

While the Right Bank produces blends that are mostly Merlot dominant, the Left Bank produces blends that are Cabernet Sauvignon dominant.
