The evolving aromatics somewhat recall the perfume of aged Sauternes. On the palate the wine is bone-dry and mineral, broad and a bit savory. The flavors echo the nose, though they work hard to deny concrete description. The wine is intriguing both for its aromatics, flavors, and texture, as well as its departure from more recognizable styles of Pinot Gris or Grigio. |
