Weinbeschreibung | Ripe red fruit of strawberry and cherry with a little pomegranate reduction, complex sweet spice with licorice and a little toasty oak with balanced savory notes of dried herbs, beet root, graphite and leather. Medium plus body with rich ripe strawberry and pomegranate along with baking spice of vanilla, cinnamon and anise on the entry. The mid-palate is more savory with mineral and earthy notes of crushed rock, forest leaves and leather balancing the rich fruit of the entry. The finish is fresh and long with returning ripe red fruit, spice and wood notes mixing with the savory elements of the mid-palate, supported by chalky, fine tannins. |
