Wine description | It is the pinnacle of our winemaking efforts. At over 15 years old, our first estate vineyard has hit its stride over the past few vintages. Please note the greenish hue on the edge of the glass, which is indicative of the health of the wine. Powerful fruit aromatics of ripe stone fruits, such as apricots and nectarines, pour from the glass. These explosive fruits eventually give way to a profound depth of secondary notes. Exotic spices, fresh hay, white flowers, flint and lemongrass round out a dynamic array of soil born aromas, which reflect the quality terroir. The palate offers incredible texture and wonderful phenolic structure, which should provide plenty of cellar life over the next 10 to 15 years. The wine has a slight hazy clarity showing our commitment to minimal intervention winemaking. |
