Wine description | One of the most popular wines among the Vivino community, the bold and earthy Beau Vigne Cult Cabernet Sauvignon boasts a unique complexity with each glass. With origins in Beau Vigne winery, Cult Cabernet Sauvignon has all the trademarks of a prodigious Napa Valley wine. Our Vivino community lovingly describe the Beau Vigne Cult Cabernet Sauvignon as starting out tannic and finishing to chocolate, with black fruit, leather and tobacco notes, as well as a whisper of anise and mushroom inbetween. Coined in the 1900s, the term “cult wine” was used to describe Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon wines that sold for large sums of money. Growing in popularity over the twentieth and twenty-first centuries, cult wines present a benchmark to a region’s potential quality, which you can taste from the first sip of Cult Cabernet Sauvignon. Boasting a charming, deep ruby colour, Beau Vigne Cult Cabernet Sauvignon is a much-loved wine, predominantly down to its careful ageing process, complex mouthfeel and versatility when it comes to food pairings. Perfectly complementing hearty meat dishes such as beef, lamb, game and poultry, as well as mature and hard cheese, the Beau Vigne Cult Cabernet Sauvignon (in particular Cult Cabernet Sauvignon 2019, 2017 and 2014) is a wonderful red wine for hosting. |
