Wine description

Le Lave, made from Gargànega and Chardonnay grapes, takes its name from the lavic soil of volcanic origin, rich in mineral salts, of the vineyards to the east of Verona. This wine highlights the characteristics of this area thanks to the fine balance between the elegance of the indigenous Gargànega grapes and the tension of the Chardonnay, which is fermented in casks and left to rest on its yeast for ten months. A creamy wine with extremely elegant notes of floral scent, after a number years of ageing it takes on characteristics that are unique for a white wine. A wine of great character, which improves considerably with age.
