Wine description | The position and altitude of the vineyard it is grown on high on the hills allow for slow, late ripening of the grapes (they are harvested during the first ten days of October) and great natural balance in terms of acidity and aromatic qualities, though without excessive ripening of the tannins, which are not released into the must during the maturation. Dégorgement takes place following a period of at least 24 months of ageing on the lees. Salmon pink in the glass with coppery hues, the wine has a very fine, lingering perlage. Highly intense and complex on the nose, its bouquet conjures up mainly wild red berries and bread crust. The structure of the pinot noir provides fullness and power in the mouth, while the acidity - well-balanced by the freshness of the bubbles - leaves a long, lingering aftertaste. |
