Gusbourne is one of the most awarded English producers: The only three-time winner of the IWSC English Wine Producer of the Year, while in 2023, they were named WineGB Estate Winery of the Year.In 2024, they were honoured with a spot in the ‘Top 50’ of the ‘World’s Best Vineyards’.
They planted their first vines in 2004 with a single-minded vision: to craft the world’s finest sparkling wines. Today – two decades on –they are still driven by that same ambition.
Overseen by Head Winemaker Mary Bridges, they make vintage-only wines, using exclusively estate-grown fruit, which express their unique Kent and Sussex terroir.
They work as sustainably as possible – today, and for the vintages to come. They farm their grapes using regenerative practices; in the winery and beyond, they put sustainability at the heart of the decision-making.
Gusbourne produces a core range of wines when growing conditions allow (Brut Reserve, Blanc de Blancs, Blanc de Noirs, sparkling Rosé, still wine Pinot Noir, Chardonnay Guinevere and still English Rosé).They also release a number of limited-edition and single vineyard bottlings. Their prestige bottling is Fifty One Degrees North.
Every wine they make at Gusbourne tells their unique story. Care, craft and uncompromising attention to detail enable them to make the very best of what nature gives us. Every harvest. Every bottle. Every vintage.
