Description du vin	It is our interpretation of the ‘real Sonoma Coast.’ In the far, westerly reaches of the rugged California coastline, UV-SL defies the extreme cool climate for which the area is known. Please note the greenish hue on the edge of the glass, which is indicative of the health of the wine. Initial fruit aromatics of orange oils, dried apricots and ripe white peaches fill the glass. Notes of sea air, roasted nuts, and baking spices intermingle with the ripe fruits. The texture is oily and rich with a clean, crisp wash of acidity in the finish. The 2014 UV-SL Chardonnay has the phenolic and acid structure to age on a slow path over the next 7 to 8 years. The wine has a slight hazy clarity showing our commitment to minimal intervention winemaking.
