Among its various and very intense aromas the prevailing ones are melon and pear, minerals and tropical fruit (passion fruit and apricot). In the mouth it has a fine structure and is elegant and harmonious, with a long and complex finish. |
Arguably the most famous white wine from Northern Portugal is Vinho Verde (“Green Wine”) from the Minho region in the far north of the country. The other dominant region in Northern Portugal is Douro, which is home to some fabulous port wines.
