Descrizione del vino | Merely by looking at this exceptional wine you will be enchanted by its appearance : bright and crystal clear with very intense yellow gold reflections, a touch of orange topaz, and a multitude of \"tears\" that trickle languorously down the inside of the glass. Its bouquet has the gentle, liqueur-like sweetness that comes from over-ripeness, but perfectly integrated with a sprightly temperament that is the signature of the Riesling grape, even when it is affected by noble rot. Aromas of honey and very ripe banana are enhanced by redcurrant and wild blueberry. There is a distinct contrast on the palate between the liqueur-like character of the wine and the underlying charm and elegance of a noble, ripe acidity that comes not just from grapes over-ripened on the vine, but from the temperament of the Riesling variety. |
