Verdon Estate is the boutique rebel of Rutherford. It’s been quietly crafting knockout single-vineyard Cab for nearly a decade, in the shadows of the multimillion-dollar neighbors, Scarecrow, Round Pond, and the other Napa elites.
This 2022 bottling? It’s got all the goods: black raspberry liqueur, roasted espresso, dark chocolate, and Rutherford’s signature dusty velvet finish. It's layered, luxe, and borderline obscene discount.
We’d call it a “sleeper hit,” but there’s nothing sleepy about it. Just enough wine to make a small splash, if you blink, you’ll miss it.
