Wijnbeschrijving | Deeply colored berries of missed fruit were obvious after leaf fall and often in great shape, even well into the fall. Not only did the grapes look good, they tasted great! Being the crafty winemakers we are, we elected in 2013 to leave a few rows unpicked until very late in the season. This results in higher sugar and more concentrated flavors. It’s a beautiful dessert wine that carries the exotic flavors of Catawba with more sweetness and more intensity. Beautiful paired with the creamy richness of Crème Brulee, or the bright fruit flavors of your Grandma's best peach cobbler. |
