Vinbeskrivning | Quinta dos Carvalhais Colheita Seleccionada 2005 has an attractive bright golden hue. With a fine aromatic intensity, it is a harmonious, rich and complex wine. It displays aromas of fresh fruit (pear and melon), as well as of dry fruit (hazel and almond). Its long maturation in oak wood hogsheads also reveals a buttery component. In the mouth it first displays a fine and fresh acidity and has good evolution in terms of body and creaminess. Its complex mouth bouquet shows ripe fruit of excellent evolution in a finely balanced whole of great aromatic lingering. |
