Descrição do vinho | It has hugely sweet aromatically, which walks the line of being too New World. The first thing this wine makes me think of is Andrea Immer Robinson's comments on episode #40, in "Behind The Grape", that she thinks Central Otago Pinot Noir is overrated. There's candied fruits, red flower, and luscious Twizzler-like charaacteristics. A surprisingly big Pinot on the nose. The size carries over on the palate, with ultra-ripe raspberry jam, and a wonderfully rich mid palate. Throw in some dried chocolate and downright seductive pomegranate flavors, while finishing with a sour cherry explosion. |
