Badia di Morrona
The abbey, whose origins go all the way back to the year 1000 A.D., was the seat of a convent of Benedictine monks, who always produced wine.
The agricolture soul of Badia di Morrona has historical origins as much as its wine culture origin of this area.
The unique structure of the vineyards, basicly clay rich of fossils but also with some sandy and mineral soils, are reflected into the wines, with a unique results in terms of taste and style of wines.
During the years, quality increase has always been supported by technology innovation, preserving all traditional production methods, with a particolar eye to the characteristics of our territory.
With this purpose a new Cellar has been projected and built, with the goal of a quality increase of our wines, through a careful and rational vinification of different grapes produced by our vineyards.
