On September 1, 1729, Nicolas Ruinart drafted the charter to found Maison Ruinart. This historic act created the world’s first champagne producing company, enshrining Ruinart as the first ever Champagne House.
After nearly 300 years, Ruinart is still setting standards, most notably their Blanc de Blancs. This elegant, poised Champagne is made from 100% Chardonnay grown in Premiers Cru vineyards from the Côte des Blancs and Montagne de Reims (for aromatic refinement), the Sézannais (for structure), and the Vesle valley (bringing zesty freshness).
